I, mad_iana, have decided to become luc_iana.

As a casual enjoyer who has to convert myself to a competitive player, i must find a main character to go along with in the comp. experience.

Finding a main, but who? I can't find anyone who can represent me and my Smash skills (random go brrrr) so I was putting a lot of Discord profile pics such as Duck Hunt Duo, Kirby, Byleth… 'til SilverFlame told me to draw melted luccina.

I heard about her that she's in the top tier of the cast, also i got her first in classic mode and at 9.9 too heh

Sword, blue hair, isn't that what the Smash community or the toxic kids hate? I think they hate more the fighter she's supposed to be echo (shez a gurl lol), about him they prefered the echo fighter because the sword's sourspot (weak part) is large and weak..

If i understand, Lucina is for starters, Marth is for pro gamer moves. Guess players are bad at the game that's why they took the echo lmao

Fun thing that ppl say she fits with me cuz am a gurl too, long hair and there's nobody yet in the ssbu staff team who mains a swordsman iirc.

Then i start using her for several matches against LVL 9 CPUs, i've been completely kebabbed, it's either the problem of button lag when i push too early (useful when you go to online quickplay) or targeting an opponent and moving the joystick in the right way…

The only solution for all of that is: adapt. I adapted to the sword's range, counter, tech, using all of these comp. moves (thank you bananaboy). Adapting against each character and player behavior too (spammers, campers, chill ppl who can easily get grilled) and while adapting i finally won against the heavies, of course i found their weak point.

You see, this text progressively becoming more comp., yet i have to move there.
